Blog 14 - Revision of "Blog 8 - Separation"
She starts to talk and tells me, "I am just a silly little boy."
I thought she was just my imagination but I tried so hard to forget about her that she wouldn't go away and leave my mind.
I was tremulous when the, "Lord of the Flies" spoke to me. She talked about how we thought that the beastie was real and that we could kill it. She said that the beastie is us, is our inner self and we can not get rid of the idea because it is in us all. The corruption in our group is tremendous because of Jack trying to over rule Ralph and the beastie craze by the fire. Before I felt dizzy she said, "They will do you in! Do not go back to the others."
And yet I did not listen because the faint feeling in my gut made my surroundings spin slowly at first but then rapid. Then BOOM everythin turned pitch black and I had fainted.
Once I woke up the sky was turning dark as if I lay there for several hours. I start to walk up the mountain curious to see the beastie. Remembering of what she said. Once I come upon the top I see a figure just moving back and forth because the wind is pushing it. I walk up closer to see what it is. A man just sitting against the rocks with the parachute stuck in between. I feel bad for him so I unhooked his parachute to let him free. His corpse just sat there and I stare until it hits me. The Beastie isn't real. It was a dead mans corpse just swaying back and forth. I have to tell the rest of the group. I look around to see were the group has gone. I have to find them as soon as possible. I see smoke by the ocean. They most have moved the fire down there so it would be easier for them. I ran as fast as I could, to go and tell them but I could only stagger down. I got stuck in the bushes and festoons so I had to crawl on the ground. Once I came out of the bushes I started to yell at them saying that the beastie wasn't real but then they attacked me. The horrible biteing, scratching and the torture. Then the white bright light.
Blog 13 - Revision of "Blog 7 - The Black Night"
We walked to an area with many ditches and holes. Jack teased Ralph to make him go along. When Ralph actually agreed I didn't trust him so I followed them from behind. When we walked up the mountain it felt like it would go on for an infinite amount of time because it was so dark and I couldn't see past at least 5 feet ahead. When Jack went further to check I just sat on a log and stayed quiet. Ralph just sat next to me. I thought that he wasn't a good leader and Jack is best fit for the job. When Jack came running up to us I thought that he was being chased by the beast and I was ready to run.
He made us go close and check it out. I was scared to see the beastie. Once we saw it all three of us ran back to the rest of the boys. We were frightened.

Blog 12 - Trial Preparation
In our trial of Jack Merridew my job is to be a Bailiff.
It is still a very important job to the courts system.
We have to be able to have a lot of skills, knowledge
of the court and laws, abilities, and a lot of patience.
I would have to swear in all of the witnesses before
they go to the stand.
The oath is:
"You [and each of you] do swear by Almighty God,
the Searcher of all hearts, that the evidence you
shall give this court [and Jury] in this issue now
being tried shall be the truth, the whole truth, and
nothing but the truth and as you shall answer to
God on the last great day."
My job in the court room is to:
-Make sure that there is order in the courtroom
-Protect the Judge and the Jury
-Escort the jury around so that they do not make any contact with the public
-Enforce the courtrooms rules of behavior and disturbance
-If needed contact police or get medical help
-Announce the judge’s entrance
-Then stop people from going in the courtroom while the judge instructs the jury
We have to be able to:
-Be honest and ethical
-To be able to accept the criticism and being calm with very high stressful situations
-Be careful with the details in completing work tasks
-To have self control of our emotions and to avoid being aggressive
-Be responsible and dependable
-Be sensitive to others in need, their feelings, and being understandable
-Have a good nature
-Have willingness to do things for others
-Take charge or give your opinion

Blog 10 - Castle Rock
"Sam," said Eric.
"Yes," answered Sam,
"Good night!"
"Sweet dreams-"
"Don't let the-"
"Bed bugs-"
"Bite!" said SamnEric.
Ralph just said, "Good night guys."
The cold breeze hit us and we huddled together to get warmth. The trees and branches shake and move to make noises at night. Ralph heard different noises and tells Piggy to be quiet and shut up but Piggy had an asthma attack. We all heard whispers through the few minutes until the attack. Jack and his hunters started to call Piggy and they made it seem as if it was the beastie calling for prey. They finally stopped and came into our hut. Ralph was fighting someone but we did not know who. We were fighting as well but who? After the fight they ran away and had taken Piggy's glasses. The next morning Ralph and Piggy wanted to confront Jack about the glasses and the fire. So we set off to castle rock the home of the Savages.
The walk over there was frightening. We all walked together, the remaining few. The cliffs and rocks seemed sharp so we stayed close to each other hoping not to fall at all. When we got to the front of Castle Rock, Roger one of the guards said, "Who goes there?"
Ralph replied, "You know who I am!" But Roger still refused to let them in. Ralph asked where Jack was and they said that he was hunting another pig for a feast again. But as soon as we knew it Jack came running towards us with his hunters and spears. Ralph and Jack talked for a little but the Ralph called Jack a thief and sparked a fight. They were fighting with their spears and stabbing each other. Jack got Ralph in the ribs. The fight was very intense. After the fight they were still yelling. Jack told his hunters to get us. They surrounded us and tied us up together. Piggy started to plead to speak but everyone said, "BOO!!" Roger who was on the top of Castle Rock was next to a big bolder that was propped up on the ledge. Roger got so mad at Piggy that he pulled the lever and the big bolder hit Piggy and broke the conch. Piggy flew up in the air and hit the rocks in the water near the cliffs. His head was cracked open and started to bleed with his bloody brains coming out. The blood went into the water and it turned into a dark red at first but then a light pink color. That sight was horrifying to watch. After Ralph saw what happened to Piggy he ran for his life leaving us behind with Jack and the Savages. Once Ralph was gone Jack's Savages took us into the fort and Jack started to threaten us. If we didn't join his tribe we would get hurt.
We said, "That is-"
"Not the-"
"Right way!"
And Jack said, "What is not the right way?"
"You shouldn't-"
"Threaten us."
Roger started to step into the conversationa and took over. He threatened us even more.

Blog 9 - Lively Death
The dark sky and rain made the night unbearable. Ralph, SamnEric and I stayed in one of the huts while the littluns that still remained stayed in the others. Ralph started to hear a noise and tried to make me quiet but my asthma made me panicky and it was hard to breath. Then monsters came into our tent. They punched, kicked, and stole my glasses. I was pushed into a corner of the hut and Ralph was fighting someone or somthing. SamnEric were also fighting someone but who really knew. Ralph said that it was Jack and his hunters. Ralph asked if I was okay and I was but I could not see as clearly. They took my glasses but we do not know why they would do such a thing.

Blog 8 - Separation
As I crawl out of my secret spot I see all of the spilled guts just laying there. The head stuck on the stick is staring at me. The eyes were staring steadfast at me. The blood from the pig trickled onto the ground. She starts to talk and tells me that I am just a silly little boy. I was tremulous when the, "Lord of the Flies" spoke to me. She talked about how we thought that the beastie was real and that we could kill it. She said that the beastie is us, is our inner self and we can not get rid of the idea because it is in us all. Finally when she finished talking to me the area around started spinning and I fainted.
Once I woke up the sky was turning dark as if I lay there for several hours. I start to walk up the mountain curious to see the beastie. Once I come upon the top I see a figure just moving back and forth because the wind is pushing it. I walk up closer to see what it is. A man just sitting against the rocks with the parachute stuck. Blog Quest - Quotes
This relates to the bigger story because this is how everyone got together and finally became a group or civilization. It is the beginning of their new adventure. They started out all separated and scattered around but when Piggy suggested to Ralph to use a shell (conch) to call the other boys that's when it all started with the groups of the littluns and bigguns. The conch symbolizes the law and order of the adult world which Piggy is trying to keep in the boys minds. It is also authority.
Ralph: "There’s another thing. We can help them to find us. If a ship comes near the island they may not notice us. So we must make smoke on top of the mountain. We must make a fire."
This was the start of hoping to be rescued. When Ralph said that the other boys agreed and hurried off to get it ready. When they made the fire they had high hopes of being rescued and not staying on the island for long. The fire symbolizes the last hope of the guys being rescued. To Piggy and Ralph the fire is the moral influence of their life in England.

Blog Quest - Song/Poem
"Heartbroken"
by T2 ft. Jodie Aysha
(Verse 1:)
Sitting here at night
Thinking 'bout you all alone
Wondering where are instincts were wrong
Got a confession to make...
Since you made me confused
Now all i can do is hurt
When you left you took my spear
Got a confession to make...
(chorus x2)
(Chorus:)
I'm pigged out (without your meat)
pigged out (yes, I've had enough)
pigged out
I don't know what to say
I've never felt this way
(chorus x2)
(Chorus:)
I'm pigged out (without your meat)
pigged out (yes, I've had enough)
pigged out
I don't know what to say
I've never felt this way
(Verse 2:)
Now We had something so tasty
I realised It meant nothing to you
I guess you thought I was your fool
Got a confession to make...
Now I realise the truth
I don't want anything to do wit yo meat
It's just the way I was attracted to it
Got a confession to make...
(chorus x2)
(Chorus:)
I'm pigged out (without your meat)
pigged out (yes, I've had enough)
pigged out
I don't know what to say
I've never felt this way
(chorus x2)
(Chorus:)
I'm pigged out (without your meat)
pigged out (yes, I've had enough)
pigged out
I don't know what to say
I've never felt this way
"Beautiful Soul"
by Jesse Mccartney
Simon singing
Simon swinging
through the trees
and through the breeze
Huddled in a ball hoping not to fall
showing the kindness by picking the fruits
giving a helping hand to a few
Lonely Simon
Wanders into the jungle thinking as the breeze jingles
hiding on trees to spend time alone
Simon singing
Simon swinging
through the trees
and through the breeze
Brave Simon confronts the Beastie
Courageous Simon faces the danger
The truth he discovers
only to face the anger
of the boys afraid of danger
Simon singing
Simon thinking
through the trees
and through the breeze

Blog 4 - Savagery Or Our Real Lives
I sat there and talked to Piggy. We just talked about our order in the small civilizations we were trying to make, but then I see a small grey thing just in the middle of the ocean. I go speachless and stop talking. I then raise my hand up to point and I said, "Ship! Ship! Ship!" Once I said that everyone stopped to look to where I was pointing. There were some people that thought incredulously and said, "No! I don't see no ship! That is preposterous Ralph!" But yet I stood staring and staring until I moved and saw an opalescent ocean. When one of the boys saw it he made a shrill noise. Once he made the noise it snapped me into my senses. I turned around and saw that the fire was out and that there was no smoke. So I ran as fast as I could and kept on going without even looking back. When I got to the top Simon and Piggy were right behind me. When I stood there I thought I started to hear a chant. The hunters had captured a pig. I was to consumed with anger that I didn't even smile or say congratulations. What they were saying was irrelevant to the fact that I saw a ship that could have taken us home. Jack was just being malevolent towards Piggy. The implication that Jack put to Piggy's face wasn't that hard but yet made a sound I could not forget within the few minutes I was still on the mountain. I just wanted to punch him straight in his face and then I did. I punched him in the nose and he bleed.

Blog 3 - Jack's Attacks
There, I looked down and saw small footprints of animals that I want the most, the pigs. I followed the pig tracks and droppings on the ground. As I followed these tracks and droppings I wasn't paying much attention to the surroundings. As I kept walking the tendrils above had sharp barbs and whacked me in the face and I fell. I was lucky that the barbs were still small and growing. When I got back up I stood there wondering what the hell just happened. Suddenly the sounds of the pigs were very near and distinct. So I squatted on the floor and crawled towards the noise. I was trying to be furtive while catching the pigs. Behind a bush I saw the little squealing pigs running around their mother. I took a small step, but then I step on a small twig and it cracked loudly. The mother pig hears it and sets out a big squeal telling her kids to run for their life. I ran as fast as I can to try and catch a piglet. I jumped on one, but the pigs ran too fast for me. I landed face flat on the ground. Disappointed and unsuccessful I sighed loudly and returned to camp.
Walking through the trees and bushes I finally got back to the beach. Just to see that everyone is playing around in the bathing pool or relaxing on the beach. Ralph and Simon were the only two working on the shelters. I walked over to Ralph and Simon. Ralph was just standing on a tree trying to put palm leaves on the top of the roof, while Simon was inside trying to help fasten the leaves. I stood there and watched for a few and was laughing when the house fell apart. Making the house was oppressive because it was hard and kept falling apart.
Ralph asked me if I could help with the huts, but I said, "No, we need to catch a pig."
"Shelter is more important than a little pig."
"We want meat!"
"We do not need meat right at this moment. Anyways neither of your hunters nor yourself has caught a pig."
"Yet! But we will!" Then I was irritated and just left Ralph and Simon.
Simon had this inscrutable stare when he looked at me. I just walked to the glimmering beach of clear water and watched the other boys just fooling around. I looked around and at a distance I could see a male peacock flaunting his feathers to his mate. I was bewildered by the sight.
After I watched the other boys play around I went back into the forest to find the pigs again. I walked for about an hour but haven't seen a pig yet. I stumble upon Simon covered with a bunch of festoons. I just walked by ignoring like he was no one. So I kept on walking.....

Blog 2 - Piggy's Distress
We just followed the rest of the group up the mountain. The mountain was steep, but not that steep. I walked up nimbly towards everyone. When I looked around the mountain I saw many warped trees. They looked sad and like they lost there spirit or soul. When they started gathering the wood I looked at them scornfully. They were rude and did not bother making sure that everyone was there at the moment. I had a feeling that someone might be missing, but I never knew who. While they gathered dry leaves, warped trees and twigs I sat there holding the conch. I held the conch because I felt it was the most important thing on this island right now because it controlled the order to our little civilization. They probably just thought that I would be officious with gathering the wood. When I finally realized that I was on the mountain I walked over to the rest of the guys.
When I went over to Ralph all he says is, "Do you have matches?"
I said, "No, I do not."
Then one of the boys in the group said we should use my glasses to start the fire. Once he said that everyone surrounded me as if they were the hunters and I was the prey. Jack just attacked me for my glasses and when he took them I felt like I was an blind person. Once they started the fire Ralph got my glasses and gave it back. When he gave it back I was really mad. The fire spread everywhere but it didn't get far. When I looked around I finally found out who was missing, it was the young boy who brought up the idea of a beastie snake in the forest.

Blog 1 - Marooned Men
The speakers went on again, but this time the Captain said, "To all passengers we are going to have a rough landing!" The other kids started screaming and pushing each other, but I just sat on my seat and ducked my head. When I was sitting I saw my past before my eyes. But then I heard a little boy about 6 years of age crying.
I looked over my chair and said, "Are you okay?"
He said, "I don't want to die."
"What is your name?"
"My name is Micheal."
"Okay, well my name is John. Do you want to sit with me?"
He nodded his head and went to the seat next to me. I felt really bad for him and myself, but mostly for everyone that was panicking. When he sat next to me, the plane started quivering along with everything on it. I felt the sensation of falling and that's when I knew the plane was going to crash. So I told him to keep his head down and stay calm. I did the same.
"KA POW!" the plane crashed. Once it crashed, I tried to get Micheal and myself out as fast as possible and we were still conscious which was a good sign. I knew the plane might blow up because I smelled gas in the air and the tail of the plane was on fire. When we were out I saw the fire devouring the plane, as if it was a sandwich.
"BA BOOM!" The plane blew up into pieces. The part of the plane I was in was the tail section. The other parts of the huge plane were scattered everywhere. Some of the people that were still alive started crying, but all of their cries felt like they were grating my ears.
I then said, "Stop crying, we are all going to be alright. It is not going to do you any good right now but we will find a way to survive on this island. We might be marooned at this island but we have each other and we will make the best of what we have."
When the people heard me talk they stopped and listened.
"Okay, thank you. Now if you want to survive we have to stay together." There was about 10 other people besides Micheal and myself. Their ages ranged between 6 to 12. At 12, I was the oldest boy in the group. The next older boy was 11 years old.
We were all thirsty and wanted some water. We were walking for a long time and everyone was getting tired. I went ahead to make sure it was safe and then I tumbled upon a lagoon. When one of the other boys heard the splash, he started running and jumped in along with the other 10 boys that were behind. We didn't take off any of our clothing, our clothes were not of decorous design. We stayed near the lagoon for a while, then some of the children started complaining that they were very hungry. One of them started acting vainly, saying a story about how he caught a fish with his bare hands. Then everyone yelled, "Be Quiet!"
"I think at least two people should go look for food and the rest stay here."
"I voted John and Micheal to look for food."
Everyone said, "Yeah! We vote for them too!"
So Micheal and I searched for food. We have been walking for a few minutes when we saw a small pig on a small mountain top. I told Micheal to clamber up the small mountain so it would be easier. When we got up, we slowly walked towards the pig and jumped. We missed and didn't catch it. When we got down, we saw a bush with ruby red berries. We picked a whole bunch and brought it back to the other people that was waiting. After we ate the red berries, one of the guys became pallor and started throwing up. We didn't know that he was allergic. I guess he was too hungry to notice. We just let him sleep and rest while we hung out by the lagoon.
One of the guys noticed a sound. He said that is sounded like someone is calling. So we listened and heard it. Another person said it sounded like a conch. We got all of our stuff and followed the noise. We were heading towards the beach. We start seeing other guys walking the same way. When we finally reached the beach and saw the person blowing the conch. We just sat down on the platform and waited. Many other people came and sat. Then after a long wait the boy who blew the conch stopped. Everyone heard marching and yelling. Then the older boys came. They were the oldest out of everyone that came. When they came they were all wearing black uniforms. Everyone wanted to vote for a lead of the whole group. The lead of the older boys wanted to be the lead but when the people voted they voted for the guy who blew the conch and called everyone, so did I. He seemed more likely the best choice, but the leader of the choir, Jack, felt indignant because he wasn't chosen as leader. When Jack, Ralph and another boy left everyone just layed back and relaxed. I just sat there speculating on what just happened a few hours ago.
